Another young grand at the helm!

Age 5 years and a few weeks.

In fact, she was also at the bow. She loved standing at the bow with the wind in her face and announcing "Waves Ahoy!" whenever a motorboat sent some our way. Given that it was also blowing whitecaps, she was a real hoot.
Grandad Wil held onto the back of her life vest until she insisted:
"Don't hold me, Grandad!" So he quietly employed the Spinnaker halyard.

All over our world’s oceans, the many astoundingly colored species of nudibranch are eating things like the vicious Portuguese man o' war, incorporating their stingers or toxins into their own skin, and using them to fend off predators.

Rene's Bluebells

Today should have been Rene VanHulle's 70th birthday,
but he died when he was 53.  He was Thankful's beloved brother.  In my garden, I keep Bluebells in his honour.
Here are Rene's Bluebells from this year.

Hatching Day!

Got this photo because USPS left a package on our porch,
which caused Mama Robin to fly off the nest.
I got the package and was coming back in the door
when I noticed a blue eggshell on the porch floor.
So I quickly got a photo on the way by!  Lucky shot.
