Right from the beginning, the Ukrainian war effort has included pet rescue alongside people rescue. To my mind, that speaks very highly of the Ukrainians.
Thanks! Youngest had just texted me saying, "Enjoy that sunset!" as he headed home to NH. Of everything he misses about living in Burlington, he misses the Burlington sunsets the most. I took the photo to send along to him.
I am reminded of the "Wizard of Id" cartoon where Rodney comes running in and shouts to the king, "Sire! The peasants revolting!" to which the king responds "they certainly are. Do you have any news?" At least that's how I recall it. ---Alan
There seems to be a great deal of video of people discussing various plans to steal or otherwise muck up the election. How bright do you have to be to figure out that talking about such things on camera (or a live mic) is really not such a hot idea?
I am frankly surprised that none of Trump's buddies has yet exited by way of hot lead, cold steel, or poison. Then again, maybe three hots and a flop plus free medical care for life might look OK to some of them. Those reports of life in the Fulton County Jail that we found yesterday don't sound very choice, though. ---Alan
