Waiting for Foliage to Turn

Younger Granddaughter in Maine got a light pink Vermont Teddy Bear when she stayed with us almost 4 years ago.  She was 6 years old at the time.  Recently, through some unclarified incident, poor Rosie T. Bear's head popped off...!  Fortunately, the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory has a Teddy Bear Hospital and the bears have full health care for life!  So I brought Rosie back to Vermont with me last Saturday.  On my birthday, we stopped at the Bear Hospital.  We learned that ordinarily it takes 3-4 weeks in recovery before bears are released from care. However, as Dr. Nancy was available Rosie was back in our arms in less than an hour! So on Wednesday, Rosie was mailed home in the special box Vermont Teddy Bear supplies (complete with air hole!).  She should arrive today and be back snug in her Mama's waiting arms. And Gramie comes off looking pretty great. 💖
