Little Brown Bat
This little Brown Bat was lying on the stairs outside our eye doctor's office.
It was alive, but clearly stressed. No sign at all of white mold on face or anywhere.
I told the receptionist at the eye doc's office and she called the Vermont Bat Society for assistance. They explained that bats cannot take off from the ground, so recommended she put on some doctor gloves, cover it with a cloth, pick it up, take it out to the base of a tree and set it down. Then walk away and check it in a half hour. Sure enough, the bat was happily gone! I could not thank her enough! 🦇
(PS: It's also where Howard and Judy had their doctors offices!)
