10:15 PM Saturday here, and we have things set up in the back yard to watch the Perseid meteor shower. This morning it was moderately cloudy, but the clouds have dispersed considerably, and moonrise will not be until about 0230 hrs. The weather forecast is for a slight chance of rain, but I doubt it. ----Alan
Just before going to bed I stepped outside for a look; the sky was clearing and I saw one bright meteor. I got a chair and waited for a while, but didn't see another. Well, maybe tonight! ---Alan
