Robin's Roost
Today is the Housewarming Party for Root*Center*Son. His name is Robin and in late May he bought a little oasis of a house not too far from the Vermont State Capitol. As you can see, he has a lovely front porch, complete with white climbing roses. Both sides of the porch came with large hanging baskets. He never quite managed to fill them with flowers, feeling that whatever got planted wouldn't have sufficient sunlight. So guess what. Just a week before his Housewarming a pair of Robins began building a nest in one of the hanging pots! Then they built one in the other pot as well. We'd already been calling his home "Robin's Roost"; now the name is permanent!
