We Tied the Knot

I went looking for a dress for Wil's and my 50th Anniversary gathering (taking place this Summer).  I need something royal blue (the colour at our wedding), yet somewhat dressy, somewhat casual and that would have a nautical theme.  I found this, which I also found in great used shape on Poshmark!  Seems perfect to celebrate two sailors celebrating having tied the knot.  PS: It rained on our wedding day, which is perfect, since a wet knot is hard to untie.

The Challenger Soccer Ball

Turns out that when space shuttle Challenger blew up 73 sec after takeoff, one item was recovered from the ocean intact. It was a duffle bag that contained a soccer ball that was supposed to go into space. So, in tribute, that same ball spent 173 days in space aboard the International Space Station.
