Viktor Orbán is visiting Mar-a-Lago this week. My expectation is that he’s going to give DT the cash. Then, if DT loses the election, he has to give Mara-a-Lago to Orbán.
Illinois also has an open primary, but I'll vote in the Democratic because I want a new Congressperson. Davis has been in office too long while accomplishing little.

Biden Amasses Cash Lead as Trump Bleeds Money March 1, 2024 By Taegan Goddard
Bloomberg: “Groups allied with Biden have already committed to spending more than $700 million to help him beat Donald Trump in the 2024 election… That’s in addition to the $130 million his campaign reported having on hand at the start of February.”
“Trump’s financial situation, by comparison, is starting to show cracks. His campaign spent more than it raised in January and allied political action committees are spending millions on his legal defense that would otherwise go to reelection efforts. The Republican National Committee’s fundraising also lags behind its Democratic counterpart.”
“On top of that, Trump’s personal finances may be strained after court orders to pay a combined $540 million in damages from both a civil fraud suit and a defamation case.”
Just found this note from puddle's son, Cooter, written late last night:
Yesterday she had a moment of lucidity. She was alert and calm. She was telling me everything will be all right. She just wanted me to help her stretch her arms, legs and back because they were stiff and achy. Unfortunately I had picked up something (maybe from that place) and was feeling feverish. I definitely was keeping my mask on the whole time. Today I feel better but mom is back to being in a half dream state with lots of pain, asking me to constantly move her this way or that in an attempt to find a comfortable spot. She is refusing oxygen and medicine, she says it tastes nasty. Even the water tastes nasty. Hanging on till family comes for some last goodbyes.
I went out to my favorite sushi restaurant tonight. Turned out [sigh] it's their last night: The manager is going back to Thailand to take care of her sikd mom. I really liked the manager/waitperson and apparently she liked me. I got a free meal.
There will be another restaurant at the locatioin, but not clear how soon and probably not sushi.

ReplyDeleteSinice Vermont has an open primary, and Biden is a shoe-in here, I’m considering voting for Haley, just to spite DT.
