    1. I wonder if the anti-vaxxers who suffer from this will become angry with the people who misled them, or just accept it as God's will.

  3. “Global health experts have condemned Boris Johnson’s lifting of most Covid-19 legal restrictions in England on Monday as ‘a threat to the world,’ as daily case numbers in the UK rose to more than 50,000,” the Financial Times reports.

“The UK now has the third highest number of cases of any country in the world — only Indonesia and Brazil have more — and some scientists fear it could become a breeding ground for new Covid variants.”

  4. Do I look cheugy in this? What can a gen Z makeover teach me about life? [Click] Good Lord—this is for me a look into two completely foreign universes, or at least planets; but at least it expands my vocabulary by one word. (Follow the link to learn details and how to pronounce it, as well as the etymology.) I am reminded of a bit of advice for managers in “Dress For Success” that although they can dictate what the men in the office wear, they cannot control what the women wear; the most they can do is hope that if bones in noses become fashionable amlng women, they will at least wear bones that are in good taste!

  7. Alan, thanks again for the View Master. Nearly 3 year old granddaughter today was perusing the Nursery Rhymes and when she got to Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater and saw the giant pumpkin house she exclaimed, "A farm!" 😆

  8. This is the LAST weekend we will have the 3 local grands here before they move 3 hours away. Tonight was the last bedtime routine we'll have for a VERY long time. % year old granddaughter had a very hard time settling down to sleep. We talked a long time and covered a lot of ground about everything (emotional) from leaving her little house for her big house, a new school, friends, not being near each other anymore, and how much we love each other and are always in each others hearts, etc. Very significant, and a sharing I will never forget and will always treasure. Then I sang her every appropriate song I know, which she clung to my arm before finally falling asleep. This bond runs deep...! ✨💕✨

Knowing it was coming sometime doesn't really make it easier. My heart goes out to you, and Dad and Sis. 💖
I'm glad that you were on hand and able to make sure Dad got there, and present for the moment. You have been such a faithful and loving daughter, even in the hard times.
I have been reading lately about near death experiences, and there is a lot of reason to suspect that consciousness continues even when the body cannot. Moreover, that even when someone is in pain their consciousness is aware and beyond pain.
