Had a couple of hours of thunderstorms which did NOT produce much rain, but did drop the temps to almost seventy. Creeping back up a bit, but still's very very nice after this past week.
And where the heck did my previous post about the weather go? Did I hit "delete" instead of "reply"? Part of it talked about how Chicago's official weather station got a record 6.8" of rain yesterday. Flooding in that area, with a couple of semi-trailer drivers perched on top of trucks stuck in 10 feet of water.
Howard's FIRST! this fine Sunday morning.

ReplyDeleteBeen busy. Hope to check in soon.
ReplyDeleteRain stopped around noon and the sun has sort of come out. Temps up into the mid-80s. But still nowhere near a brutal as last week.

ReplyDeleteThings just disappear around here.
ReplyDeleteAnd either things aren't appearing or everyone is busy, busy, busy, or the heat is leading everyone to take a long summer's nap.
