Greed destroys ecosystems
We haven't begun to really discuss what happens to life on this planet once the Gulf Stream is polluted by oil.

Doug Racine for Governor of Vermont!
Here's Doug Racine speaking at a House Party in my town on Sunday evening.
That's me sitting in the chair by the door, and Hubby standing behind me.
We have been volunteering for Doug's campaign from the beginning.
Doug was Lt. Governor when Howard Dean was Governor, has been our county's
state Senator, and Chair of the Senate Health and Welfare Committee.

The Endless Summer lives on...
One thing I am doing this week to keep the Endless Summer living on
is to attend a meeting in support of Doug Racine for Governor of Vermont.
Doug was a Senator when Howard Dean was our Governor, and is the right person
to be a successor of the Dean legacy here. He has been Chair of the Senate Health Committee.
He is quiet and strong and the best candidate to debate the Republican challenger.

It's Fuzzy Kitty Day!
I don't know why anyone bothered calling the middle weekday "Wednesday" when
"Fuzzy Kitty Day" is lots more fun. Ha!
What are you doing for defenseless creatures these days? (Alan is, of course, exempted from this question, having so recently explained about letting the cherry possums go and ensuring that the coon got a good placement.) :-)

Boats on the Water
Another sign of Spring!
This is an historic day: It is my first day of PAID Vacation since I worked at UNH
over 30 years ago.

Great Aunt Evelyn's Lilac Hedge
Note it's size in comparison to the mailbox! All our lilacs here at home are from this hedge.
Aunt Evelyn lived to be 99 1/2. No one knows how old the hedge is.
