I just watched Gov. Walz's acceptance speech; it seemed to have many more points than we were advised in our public speaking class to include, but it was very effective. And it IS an unusual type of speech. A good solid "A" in my opinion. And no bears were killed in its making. -----Alan

I wonder why noone has pointed out the irony that the January Sixth insurrection occurred eighty years to the day after FDR first enunciated the Four Freedoms? For that matter, how come nobody talks about the Four Freedoms anymore? Surely, they are just as relevant today as they were in 1941. Harris and Walz come close... maybe reformulating them for our day, but me thinks references to FDR would not come amiss.
I greatly appreciate the cheerful and encouraging approach Harris and Walz are bringing, in stark contrast to DT and Vance's constant complaining about how terrible America is! It's like we've all been breathing the gas of all that gaslighting and suddenly we're breathing fresh air again. I'm hoping for a major landslide.

Today my keyboard began acting strange. The space bar typed aright bracket. The down arrow typed a left bracket. The fn key typed a back slash and the back slash key opened my icons (which is what my fn key usually does!). The apostrophe key did a return, while the quotation marks key typed quotation marks and did a return.
I used an air can on the keyboard but nothing changed. Then, tonight, it just began working again! I hope it continues. I'm going to do backups just incase. Maybe it will be time for a new computer in the near future? Stay tuned.

Trump keeps losing his train of thought. Cognitive experts have theories about why [Click] Their analysis of his speech patterns only goes back a few years— not nearly enough, I think. Trump has long been a publicity hound; there are videos going back decades.
