Root*Center*Son had the day off, so we went hiking by the old granite quarries, complete with hills made of granite pieces, with some gorgeous sculptures along the way…and, oh, the views!!
Then we picked up scrumptious rakeout and went to his place for the evening. Great time.

Tomorrow we’re going up to Canada (Quebec) to pay respects to our dear friend Rod, who died this year. We could only attend his service via Zoom at the time, as a local family member came down with Covid, and we couldn’t chance bringing it to Canada. Besides, there was a tornado watch up there during the service!
