    1. Really interesting article. Couldn't stop reading. But on the most fundamental political point: An independent Scotland does not guarantee the country will always have a left-leaning government.

    2. True; the Wheel of Fortune WILL turn, and it wasn't long ago that the SNP were derided as "tartan Tories." But they seem to have caught the current political wave, while the other major or almost major parties are both befuddled and in a panic.

      It seems that David Cameron is being carefully shielded from random encounters with random unapproved/uncoached/unpredictable citizens and voters; rather as HRC seems to be, and Mitt Romney famously was. The contrast with the SNP leader could not be clearer. Where, I do wonder, is OUR Nicola Sturgeon?

  2. True, Alan! T'was sooo good that Nana happens to have Wednesdays off and was home when the event occurred, especially as it was the first time. We are extremely grateful!!
