listener's next step must be murals! I am reminded of a TV program we saw about a retired Japanese couple who moved to Italy to study, and definitely to create, frescoes (using the wet plaster technique--durable, but the artist has to work fast and can't make a cartoon first).
Maybe I'm sort of catching up. The email flood about the Hugo nominations has died down quite a bit, although not completely. I finished the book chicago-sf discussed yesterday afternoon at 7 a.m. in the morning (about half-again as long as I expected it to be). Then I got the chapters for my on-line book discussion done. Really should get things entered in my checkbook. And then I can start on the work I should have been doing a week ago.
The parliamentary election campaign in the UK is very interesting; the politician who clearly is most impressive is Nicola Sturgeon. She conveys an authenticity few politicians can muster. I could easily vote for her like as President of the US.
Howard's our boy!!

ReplyDeleteNot too bad, I suppose.
