Howard is first, whether the weather if fair or foul.

The heating system got finished today about 6:30 -- meaning they put in about 2-1/2 hours overtime. Not that heat was needed today: The high was almost 80. Absolutely bueatiful day, although quire windy. But it's toruning cooler, with tomorrow's predicted high in the upper 50s and tomorrow night's low in the mid-40s. Then it warms up a bit again, with highs around 70. That's typical for April, so far as anything can be considered typical.

And with that, I'm off to bed.

  3. We're supposed to hit 80 sometime next week. Lows remain in the 40s though. We had some windows open today. Totally gorgeous. My only, plaintive, complaint is that it feels more like Summer than like Spring. Other than that, it's loverly.

I've been laboring. Are you a novelist if you're writing a novel, or only if you've written a novel? We're up to 194 manuscript (oh, all right, typescript) pages. I'm counting down to breaking the 200 page barrier. I'm exhaustified, but content. When the muse is smiling, I love my job!

Traveling mercies on listener and Hubby! ♥

  4. Don't know how long the line'll stay up -- didn't manage more than five minutes yesterday. The phoebes are busy nest building today. Oh, joy!

Lovely candle, front and back, listener!! And breathtaking picture today. Have a wonderful weekend, and traveling mercies.

You're whatever you want, Cat, as soon's you begin.

Congrats, Bill ~~ satisfying for big jobs to get finished!!

    Congratulations from me, too!

Currently reading Robert Sawyer's "Hominids." (Any way to do italics on this blog?) One of my discussion groups will be doing that in May. Took me a while to get into it, but Sawyer's building up some narrative tension now.

Thanks, puddle. You just have to pretend you're some sort of HTML programmer.
