Our dear tc had a surgery on Wednesday and is having some treatments this week. As far as I know all is going smoothly. It wouldn't hurt, though, to light a candle for her. ♥
Big day today. They're putting in our new heating system. They originally said it would take two days, but now they say they'll work late tonight and come back Saturday if absolutely necessary. I get the impression there is someone else they've promised to have the installation finished by the Monday deadline. But getting it done in a single day is fine with us!
Plus, the post-convention Australia tour was officially announced last night. Our reservation and deposit is on it's way.
If the woman cooperates, the article for the Braille Monitor on the NFB Krafters Division is almost finished. I don't have much hope, though. She hasn't answered my recent e-mails. I was rather venomously polite in the cover letter, letting her know that I want to get the project over with. We'll see. I'll put it out of my mind till next I hear from her.
What troubles me more is not hearing from Robert. He wanted a report on the anthology, and he's usually prompt in responding. I hope there isn't some problem with my e-mail that means I'm not getting some of my mail. Of course, quasi junk mail has no trouble getting through, the kind of stuff you don't want to cancel because occasionally it contains something interesting, but usually doesn't. But, I haven't heard from the "Krafters" Division woman - (I hate that! Told her it was a turn off, but of course she thinks it's original and cute. Stupid and affected is what it is. But, who am I, a mere M.A. in English, to criticize a handicrafter?), or Robert or Weird Tales; and am beginning to worry about reception again. *sigh*
Started American Prometheus, a biography of J. Robert Oppenheimer. It's quite long. Wasn't able to concentrate, though I am interested. Maybe I'll be able to settle down and read tonight.
Well, of course the order to the candles gets shuffled around every time you go. When I just went there to light today's candle, cat was first and dog was last. After I'd lit the candle, dog was on top of cat.
It is odd how they get shuffled. There's almost always an unlit candle at the end of the top row, and often most of the lit candles are at the bottom.I never have understood chance, probability and such things.
I begin by opening the Library. After work I have to take the Paschal Candle to the church that it's for (about an hour and a half from here) and will be present at the Easter Vigil service where it will be lighted for the first time. After that Hubby and I are zooming back up to Burlington for our son's fundraiser for his non-profit organisation which has as its purpose to build domes to be used to feed the hungry and house the poor. Won't be home until after midnight.
I'll pop by on Easter Day, though!! A blessin' on you each and all. ♥

I notice that there's a Cat candle right next to a Dog candle on Ally's page again. Funny how that works out. :)
It's a beautiful day here today, warm and sunny.
