  2. Sixty, but feels kinda cold. Maybe because it's gray and windy. First of about four days of seriously needed rain. Been hearing (but seldom seeing) the indigo buntings, and of course seeing and hearing the phoebes. It's hilarious when Stevie goes out and both sets of birds start the alarm calls. Talk about belling the cat, lol! *Himsel,f* however, seems clueless of the clatter.

  3. Yeah, it's gray and rainy here too. I've got to get out back and clean out the basement stairwell before we get any of the predicted really big storms tonight. It's either that, or bail tomorrow.

When I went out earlier today to put out the bird food I scared off a mama duck and her 3 little ducklings. That's a pretty small clutch for a duck (mallard). I don't know if the eggs hatch at different times or if something got at the nest.

Saw my first red-wing blackbird in a very long time.

Hi all. Spending my last weekend packing before the big move on Friday. Have to mine some Sunday salt tomorrow afternoon. Never thought I would view the salt mine as a break. Things are fairly well under control but I may need some help packing up the electronics. I took pictures of the wires in back of the tv and will do the same with the computer.

Spoke to Charlie for a little while this afternoon. As you know I won't say too much here but suffice it to say that certain parties have contributed to making his life a living hell. ( :* my you-know-what Hugh)

It was good to hear his voice again, but nobody should have to go through what he is going through in America...or anywhere else, come to think of it.

  6. Those two, and some few others there are going to have *very interesting* life reviews. . . . I had an uncle like that: used to do some terrible things, but there was always such a good reasonable explanation for the havoc he wreaked. . . . All I ever wanted was for him to have to *see* what he'd done. . . .

  7. Hi Donna! You *are* in a bad way if the salt mine seems like a break. 8) Very smart move with the photos. So, Friday's the big day? In case I don't see you before then, best of luck! *hug*

    Thanks for the Charlie update.

  8. The photos kinda reminded me of the first time I had to take my computer to town to get a new modem. I got my magic markers out and color coded the plugs and plug ins as I unhooked them. I noticed when I did that on the XP, that they were *ALREADY* color coded in the plastic, lol! Can't keep a great idear down. . . .

  9. GRR but you didn't get royalties, did you, Puddle?

  10. I just figure that some (great) idears hit the world about the same time, lol!
