Had to laugh when I checked in and saw yesterday's photo about it almost being time to cut the grass. Son & DIL from Maine are here with two of our granddaughters and said parents spent the afternoon cutting our grass! :-D
Having a heavenly time with the littles. More tomorrow. ♥
Have some friends in Alabama that got married yesterday ~~ after a year of planning a beautiful outdoor wedding, in the final two days had to do a total revamp and hold it in their living room. They had to call all the out of towners who hadn't left yet and ask them not to come (including his daughter and her four kiddles). They're having a tough time accepting this, to say the least. . . .
Hope your AL friends can salvage something of their preparations, puddle. Maybe it would be possible to do it again at a later date and call it renewing vows.
I just spent an hour doing an archeological dig in my fridge. Oy! The things you find! I tend to be a sporadic housekeeper at best. Usually my cue is stuff falling off shelves when I try to put it away. Maybe not the best system. (I think some of those things were starting to grow legs!)
Checking in...'fraid I've been a bit of a stranger. Had a big rush job due Friday morning dropped on me Tuesday, stayed up definitely later than was good for me working on it Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, then after Job No. 1 off to Job No. 2 for the weekend, where as usual they had no respect for my beauty sleep! I was drowsier than usual on the way home, so pulled over and took a nap under a tree at a little rural school on the way home. Now at home, relaxing with things that don't require much brain power, then to my own bed early. So things have been OK; hope nobody sent out the Saint Bernards.
I've been a stranger, too, although I've been following the messages. The new computer is mostly (mostly) set up, but there's catching up to do. And I expect to be seriously mining salt the coming week, as there is supposedly a deadline Friday.
It's Sunday, and Howard Dean is still First!

ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, even though it's only 10:30, I'm heading for bed. A good night to everyone!
