My next door neighbour is 93, so I often shovel her walk.
On this day, I also made a SnowWoman at the end of her walk, to cheer her.
She loved it!

“But there is, of course, a larger story here. The Biden administration has been very clear both about the right of nations to retaliate for attacks and about its determination to stop the war between Hamas and Israel from spreading.
“Iran would like that war to spread. It is eager to stop the normalization of relations between Arab states and Israel, and is backing Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis in Yemen, and Hezbollah in Lebanon—all nonstate militias—to try to stop that normalization.”

ReplyDeleteIt was truly bizarre….5:50am.
Wil had a nightmare in which he was lying in the middle of a 6 lane highway at night, propped up by one arm, with oncoming headlights. He did the math and could see they weren't going to see him in time to stop or otherwise miss him. So he was scrambling to get the heck off the road. Next thing he knew, I was asking what was going on. He had made it around 2 sides of the bed before encountering the table. Basically, a sleep walking (running) incident. First ever.
The deep gash was a good 2.5” in length and he also had a long scrape across his chest from when he fell along the table. Add in that he’s still on blood thinners and it made for a truly surreal experience. We got dressed and headed for the ER.
We had them do a CT scan to rule out internal bleeding, and it was perfect. Yay!
Very nice doctor and staff. Good time of day to be there…very little else going on.
Home 4 hours later.
