I fell asleep and awakened in the middle of this: Reign Of Terror: The Vicious Rule Of King Richard II [Click] and watched it from the beginning. I never read Shakespeare’s related plays, which of course are undependable as history. It appears from this telling that Richard was not barbaric but frankly savage. —Alan
Took my pill, fell asleep about two, woke at three when the wind blew in the temporary window (20 years)over the A/C. Got up, put it back. Blew in again in twenty minutes. I got up, came down, and watched The Way We were. On my way back up with lotsa duct tape.
That's pretty damn rude; just looked at the national forecast, and it looks like a lot of weather back east. Pretty nice hereabouts. Everybody stay safe and warm, hear? ---Alan
Wow! Wild blog night! As for me, I took meds and for the first time all week, I slept 8 hours...!!! Woke and we have had bright sunshine with snow falling. I kid you not. We take getting our snowfall seriously, here in the hometown of Snowflake Bentley! LOL. There's rumblings of us getting between 6 and 11" of snow cme Sun-Mon. 🤞 PS: Getting snow tires on the Maverick today, and on the Mini tomorrow.
Bright and sunny here after days of cloudiness following the light snow. But the predicted high is only 25F. Safe by relying on a heavy bathrobe for warm. Supposed to be back up into the 40s tomorrow, though.

13 degrees. Wind was gusting as high as 16mph when I came down, when I went up, window still up, so I just went to bed and slept til nine. No snow or rain. Inside temp was 53 degrees, so turned my stove top on high it's warmed to 61 degrees, so better. Still don't know *HOW* it happened, normally wind is the first thing I notice of weather, since I have a tin roof which resounds like a drum. Never happened.

Alan, checked Amazon dvds, for Richard II, which I last bought February 13, 2014, That man could give one nightmares, fer sure.

DeleteBeautiful, sunny afternoon here, if chilly. No snow, though we had heavy rain over the weekend.
DeleteI think twenty years sounds reasonable for temporary. *grin* Also, "The Way We Were" is a good thing to watch on the way back upstairs.
Congrats, Listener. Eight hours is wonderful! I'm envious. Never have been a great sleeper, myself, though I don't have Puddle's problems!

"winger" should be "winter" but you already figured that out.

Around here winter is the winger season as a number of folks fly south. 😉
DeleteSeems there ought to be a reverse flow during Hurricane season. . .
