WOW! Here are the exercises for lower back pain [Click] that I recently discovered. The therapists say to work up to 30-35 repetitions of each three times per day of four exercises. I did 20 repetitions of the first three exercises the day before yesterday and yesterday, and the improvement is dramatic! Yestermorn I could put my socks on pretty easily, and this morning (sky just beginning to lighten and color, first cup of coffee at the ready) my socks are not yet on, but my back feels better than it has in I don't know how long! I could get out of bed, stand up and walk easily. The fourth exercise (a strange way of walking) seems too dangerous--- too likely to cause a trip and fall. ----Alan

(Susan) The back exercises are interesting. I will try them because my back is so bad I can't be on my feet for long before I have to sit again. I have to watch it without sound though, because those guys just annoy me.
Good luck! My better half doesn't have the range of motion for the third exercise. Just now I realized that (at least in one position) my right thigh muscle is very tense and hurts on the first exercise. ----Alan
