  1. I have yet to talk with the pulmonologist I was referred to by my family medico, but am coming around to the idea that childhood pneumonias combined with decades of breathing polluted air, decreased physical activity since retirement, and discontinuation of my regular exercise regimen during the past year due to simple sloth (and boredom) are catching up with me. Starting yesterday I resumed my regular daily exercises and increased them by half; I am definitely feeling better after the second session this morning. I saw a pulmonologist online recommending a breathing exerciser that looked good, found it on Amazon for $54 taxed and delivered, and for $24 taxed and delilvered (a little slower) on eBay. Pulmonary rehab here I come.

Wil had to stop his daily walk during the cold snap, but got back to it today.
He goes for his checkup with the cardiologist soon.
It takes effort, but it's soooo worth it!

  2. We have started to send out inquiries to purchase a small sailboat. We're hoping for a Pearson 26, which is a small cabin cruiser that is also good for racing. They were only made in the 70s and early 80s, and currently run between $2000 and $8000 depending on condition.
