Abortion is a spontaneous natural function. Indeed, 50% of ahh fertilized human ova are aborted before or soon after implantation. It is ridiculous to be legislating bodily functions. Also ridiculous to justify legislation with a dysphemism.
ReplyDeleteHuman males are dependent on females to replicate. The British common law identifies the male as the parent and owner of chattel (wives and children). This primitive perspective needs to be exposed and rejected. Ratification by the U.S. Senate of the UNCRC would help.

ReplyDeleteAnother balloon shot down, this one over Alaska, flying at 40K feet, which would be low enough to present some threat to commercial airliners. (The previous one was flying at 60K feet, as memory serves me.) The remains fell on ice-covered water.

Second post op visit to the eye surgeon. Eye was great first night -- then too a week to get good again Last night and the one before, the left was nearly perfect, without glasses. The second surgery has been postponed to March, and I love the surgeon madly.

Was poking around today on the Vermont Public Radio site and came across this!

from town. He and his wife worked it for years, till it became one of
the finest farms in the county.
The preacher stopped by one
afternoon to visit. They sat side by side on the front porch, looking
out on the hayfields, green pastures and Jersey cows, solid barns, and
the glittering trout pool at the foot of the hill.
"Isn’t it amazing, Brother," said the preacher, "what God and Man can do when they work together?"
"Yep," said the farmer. "You shoulda seen this place when just God was runnin’ it."
This is Willem Lange in Montpelier, and I gotta get back to…wait a minute! Even God took today off.
That story is a keeper, all right.
