I haven't seen that news so I don't know what it means. Are they talking about assessments? For what types of property? And only a third of the county is reassessed each year. Or are they saying one of the taxing bodies has drastically I increased its rates? Which one?
Thanks. This is about the city of Chicago, which saw reassessment this year. My trassnent is a year or two off. And more importantly, homrowners' bills went up only 8%.
