Doubly Wonderful!

Susan amazed me again!  Since I gave the Butterfly quilt
that Susan made for me to VT*Grand (who was home
sick when it arrived),
Susan made me a duplicate,
so that my granddaughter and I can each have one!!
🦋 Susan is a MARVEL! 💛
(Mizzen agrees, proving it the cushiest spot in the house!)

  1. Almost no end of stories about the train wreck at Twitter yesterday and today. The banks who financed the purchase must be working overtime to figure out what parts of Musk's empire they should target for liens.

    1. I've looked at all my usual news sources and don't see anything new. We've known for days that Musk fired half the staff and then issued an ultimatum that caused half the remainder to leave, but that's old news. What's this yesterday/today train wreck?

    2. Guess I'm living in the past; just noticed what was to me a new article in The Verge, but it wasn't new in fact.

    3. Currently it is still a train wreck, though!

  2. I like that picture, listener. Mizzen is such a pretty kitty. I have two cats of my own, have always had cats and they are drawn to quilts. Smart animals.

    1. Very smart!

Spinnaker napped on it last evening, as well...! It's definitely Cat Approved!
The Butterflies will be a joy to see all Winter long, too. 🦋

  4. Trump suffers setback as appeals panel rejects Cannon ruling. [Click] The panel ruled that Judge Aileen Cannon erred in re DOJ access to classified documents seized at Mar-a-Lago.

    1. That was in September. Today another panel (one different judge) is considering the DoJ petition that ALL documents be handed over and the special master be terminated.
The classified documents are not going to be able to be used at trial. The other documents should help determine why they were stolen and what else is missing.
Lawyers who comment for the networks are suddenly getting cagey.

  5. Justices Clear Way to Release Trump’s Tax Returns [Click] Hmmmm . . . think they can be shared with the New York courts? I still wonder how many passports he has.

    1. This is such good news because the present Congress gets to see the tax returns.

Wil says DT will need to escape to Russia soon...where Putin will soon tire of him and conscript him to the front lines, where Ukraine can take care of business. (Methinks Wil may be harbouring a tad of pent up rage DT-wards. Ha!)

    2. I have wondered what country or countries would be willing to give DT political asylum. The problem is that he would be most unlikely to abide by reasonable restrictions on his behavior.

  6. Have you ever had a tooth repaired and the dentist uses a glue that smells terribly? That was my situation on Tuesday and within two hours I had a sore throat. I have to wonder if it's a reaction to the glue. If not, then maybe I just brought a sore throat to the office...? We'll see if it clears quickly or not...

    1. PS: Out of an abundance of caution, I took a Covid test before I went, and it was negative. No symptoms at all, but took the test anyway.

    2. I'm trying to think what sort of tooth repqir would involve glue and not coming up with anything. But in any case, my perpetually stuffy nose means I have a poor sense of smell, so I maybe wouldn't have noticed a bad smell.
