We had a power failure last night; it is said to have been "weather related." Seems an odd time for electricity demand to peak.

We've had descriptions like "108 Deg. F, feels like 107."
The tornado was something like 20 miles from my house. We got a severe weather alert but nothing more than a bit of rain.

I am reminded that the original Ferris Wheel [Click], built for the Chicago Exposition of 1893, was hit by a tornado, and suffered no damage.

Is it time for those yahoos who are campaigning to replace Newsom to bail out? Or eat fuzzy worms and die?
