Happy Boy

They named him Orenji which, as Alan may know, is Japanese for orange. It seems a fitting name for a Ninja (which he must be, having survived the Winter outside) and he is kind of Zen. 🐈

Much as I’d like to see this person out of office, I have to say that reading the list of charges I’m thinking, “That’s all they have to deal with?” Compared to DT, it’s small potatoes.

  2. Messages on the last thread. Yup: garden. Got dinner at 10:00pm tonight, though.

One more BIG push tomorrow should about do it.

I expect to see a few grandchildren on Monday! AT LAST!!! We have all been doing due diligence, and it’s now allowed in Vermont if 10 or fewer.

    1. Interesting that I haven’t really lost much weight while doing 10+hrs/day of heavy duty gardening. I suspect, though, that fat weight has been changed to muscle weight, because my fat content has dropped 4+ points and is securely in the green.

    1. Surprisingly, I’m told he just knew. Of course, they scent the litter with something that encourages use by a cat.

The Republican party’s embrace of rural and white working-class voters has been met with an exodus of college graduates and suburbanites. Reliably red Arizona is tilting toward Joe Biden because of defections among seniors and four-year degree holders.”

  8. Got to watch the grand's graduation ceremony on Zoom. (via thumb drive--love our technology). Was done beautifully and meaningfully with everyone at home. I was more moved by it than by any of my three graduations. Yay!

    1. It could. The year I built here was astonishingly noisy, and the trees lost an amazing amount of foliage. But the timing isn't right. Different brood numbers come in different years.

    2. On further investigation, it appears not. My brood of magicadas is Brood I, I thought there might be some overlap between the 13 year and 17 year broods, but they also appear to be spatially separated--17 year, Northern;, 13 year, Southern. Which is a relief. Without the evergreens it would have looked pretty moonlike here. . .

[There is currently no way for people to find out.] It also requires the state to allow any felon to register if they are not given an answer within 21 days. No one will face perjury charges for registering and voting through this process, he ordered."
