Bigger than impeachment? As early as this Friday the Supreme Court will decide whether to let lower court rulings on subpoenas for Trump’s tax returns and financial records from Deutsche Bank and his accounting firm.
Whoops! It should read "Bigger than impeachment? As early as this Friday the Supreme Court will decide whether to let lower court rulings on subpoenas for Trump’s tax returns and financial records from Deutsche Bank and his accounting firm stand."
Susan, thank you for your comments regarding HRC on a previous thread. You said exactly what I feel about her.
As to Bernie endorsing HRC, he is a gentleman and an honorable man. He did the gentlemanly, honorable thing. It really pissed me off that so many Sanders supporters badmouthed him for doing the right thing. I didn't vote for Clinton, but I totally understood Bernie supporting her in the interests of party unity.
The party unity argument doesn't always fly. Both my mother and my friend Patty swore they would vote for McCain rather than Obama. Mom now claims she didn't actually vote for McCain, but I don't believe her. I readily believe that a goodly number of Clinton supporters voted for McCain. OTOH it's hard for me to picture Sanders supporters voting for Trump! Even though Trump voters seem to me to be Bernie's natural constituency, I really can't see it going the other way.
A couple of notes about Northern Ireland posted at the end of the previous thread. May Brexit not come to pass.
