  1. Bernie Sanders Endorsed by California Young Democrats [Click]

Bernie Sanders holds East L.A. rally as part of his outreach to young Latinos [Click] Oh, My! There is even a Bernie Sanders corrido! Granted it’s from 2016. Click on the link in the story! Good fun! I doubt any other 2020 candidate has a corrido.

National Nurses United gets behind Sanders for a second time. [Click]

    1. Great endorsements!!

Corrido: "The corrido (Spanish pronunciation: [koˈriðo]) is a popular narrative song and poetry that forms a ballad. The songs are often about oppression, history, daily life for peasants, and other socially relevant topics."

      Cool!

    =======================================
In a somewhat tense moment during today’s House Intelligence Committee hearing, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman corrected Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) after the ranking member referred to the Iraq War veteran as “Mr. Vindman.”

Said Vindman: “Ranking member, it’s Lt. Col. Vindman, please.”

Sanders Campaign Reports Four Million Contributions [Click] Didn’t get that many in 2016 until after the New Hampshire primary.

The Repurposing of the American Jail [Click] “Jails and prisons are becoming substance-abuse treatment facilities—even for those who haven’t been accused of a crime.” If others won’t step up, why not sheriffs?

Why Hasn’t Cory Booker’s Campaign Caught Fire? [Click] My speculation: Maybe it is because not enough people can identify with him.

High hopes for Pete: is the mayor's flashmob dance the cringiest campaign trend so far? [Click] Egad….

  4. As an American citizen, I take offense at Rep. Nunes calling the Congressional Hearings "a circus" and "a spectacle." Apparently the Republicans have nothing, so all they can do is shoot the messengers. A pox upon their House caucus!

  5. At least you don't have to suffer the indignity of having said person described as your representative.

  6. Headline from NY Times:

A G.O.P. Star Emerges in Impeachment Hearings. Democratic Donors Notice.

As Representative Elise Stefanik, a New York Republican, took a leading role in Friday’s impeachment hearing, donations came pouring in to her Democratic challenger.

  7. Yes, Elise Stefanik is the best fundraiser ever - for her opponent. Tedra Cobb raised a Million dollars after Stefanik acted the fool. I donated to her and I'll do it again, such is my disgust for fake soap opera "victims" like Stefanik, Nunes and Jordan - oh, and lest we forget, Ohio's Mike Turner. Donated to his opponent today too.

And Cory Booker hasn't caught fire because he seems insincere and very much the black man's version of plain vanilla. Also he dearly loves corporate money and that is the death knell right there for me.

  8. This was published by The Hill, which is rated center is partisanship. The link was way too long to copy, but the headline was "Pete Buttigieg Climate Advisor Is a Fossil-Fuel-Funded Witness for The Trump Administration Against Children's Climate Lawsuit "
