    1. I saw some uninformed person quoted asking why Turkey is in NATO. That Turkey and Russia should be cooperating is indeed amazing; they are traditional enemies of very long standing. Historical russian genocides of turks are among the most horrific crimes against humanity on record. Among other "unpleasantries."
