“Senate Republicans facing steep re-election races next year know the impeachment inquiry coursing steadily ahead on the other side of the Capitol will determine President Trump’s political fate. Their growing fear is that it will also determine their own,” the Washington Post reports.
“In a matter of weeks, those few senators have watched helplessly as the investigation by House Democrats has lobbed a grenade into the middle of their campaigns, putting them on the defensive amid a torrent of damaging revelations about the president’s conduct with no clear end in sight.”
OMG, the stuff nightmares are made of. People just plain don't like her, and she gets really nasty to civilians who question her. One young woman in particular paid $400 to come into a private gathering and she asked Hillary something that Hillary didn't like (don't remember what) and instead of answering her Hillary just snarled, "Why don't YOU run for office?" in a really mean tone. Can't stand her, didn't vote for her and won't.
Whatever fountain they are drinking from, it is not the fount of political wisdom. Nor the fount of basic political competence, for that matter. They continue to be so out of touch that they don't even know they are out of touch. IMO.
I agree with Alan. She has run for President twice and in each case the most fundamental reason she lost was the incompetence of her campaign staff. The notion of her jumping into the race at this point, not much more than a month before the Illinois filing deadline, trumps everything that went before.
I still shake my head about how neither Sen. Clinton nor any of her high-priced political consultants was able to come up with a decent campaign slogan.
Make no mistake: Medicare for All would cut taxes for most Americans [Click] “Not only would universal healthcare reduce taxes for most people, it would also lead to the biggest take-home pay raise in a generation for most workers.” Much longer than a single generation, I dare say. And if the writers are correct, it ought to stimulate the economy tremendously.
Video shows Fresno cop killing unarmed teenager who is running away. [Click] I live in the US Representative district Andrew Janz campaigned in in 2018, but not in the city of Fresno. Janz is running for mayor, but he and his staff refuse to respond to the question I have sent from time to time: If elected, what would he do about Fresno’s killer cops problem?
