I'm suuuuper tired, and have been trying to catch up with parcels that need mailing. I BEGIN Christmas cards tomorrow...though am sending few this year. Instead of the usual 140, it'll be closer to 60, with the rest being sent via email! We are trying to save paper, and reduce the mailing frenzy, but also really do love those in the mailbox, in your hands Christmas cards. Some folks can't receive them electronically, as well, so we're being sensitive to their needs.
That is A LOT of Christmas cards, listener. In Japan it is New Year cards, and people get lots and lots of them. They are preprinted by the post office, rather attractive without being excessive, and each one is a lottery ticket! The more you send, the more you are likely to receive, of course.
Why Bernie Sanders is (still) the most progressive choice for president [Click] This seems decidedly partisan, but does give perspective on various potential candidates. It’s worth a read, certainly. And there remains considerable room for surprises. Remember Jeb! Bernie and Warren clearly have the organizational groundwork laid; I wonder about Biden.
Well, it's already December, 2018, some twenty-two and a half months till Election Day 2020. Not too far out to be planning, though perhaps too far out to be prognosticating.
Bill, thanks for mentioning potassium chloride. I'll look for some. Though my potassium is only slightly low, it will be a helpful supplement. After all, there are days when one just doesn't want a banana.
Tried to look for it at the local Jewel-Osco this afternoon, but my poor eyes couldn't find it and at that particular hour there was no one to ask. Next time.
I haven't looked for it, but as memory serves me, I saw it in the diet food section of the grocery store. When I was young, my father was told to restrict sodium, so we all cut back. One thing I recall in particular was a sort of "ice cream" with far less salt than usual. It tasted very good.
I don't believe this grocery store has a specific diet food section. I was looking in the vitamin/mineral/supplement section. It may well have been there, but actually finding it was beyond me.

DeleteI just finished my Christmas cards. Four (three of them with letters). Penny will also send cards to her relatives.

ReplyDeleteAnd now it's OK to challenge someone to a duel in Canada! Presumably it is also fine to subsequently do away with them in self-defence...
