I'm glad this is available. I recommend getting it and wish I could get it, too. But I am pretty sure that I'd have to go off the anti-viral for a month to six weeks first, since it would kill the vaccine. But I can only last 3 days without getting shingles. Sigh.
Well, the good news is that my anti-viral has no side effects and isn't the sort the body gets a tolerance to. With insurance it costs me $8 per month. Now if DT would just back off health care and insurance, I might be okay.
Got all my outside errands done today. Then went to Murphy's Books. They were having a Halloween party for the kids and almost everybody there - kids and adults - were in costumes. They had lots of games for the kids to play and it was all very cute and sweet. I bought some scary movies 'cause Halloween.
I finished the last border on Grandson's Cat Face quilt and next I'm going to go fix a dollhouse porch swing.
I bought a dollhouse facade at the antiques market. It's only about " deep - no rooms, just the facade. The hook for the porch swing is missing on one side, but I have replacements. I also have a grandma doll figurine that will just fit in the swing, a kitty to sit inside looking out the window, a puppy on the front porch and a hanging fern my mom made when we had our dollhouse accessories business.
FWIW

I saw the news. We got the first shingles vaccine, and will get the new one too. Shingles is nasty.

DeleteMaybe an extra-large dose of Damitol would help--but probably not for long. That's rotten, listener.

Ooooooohhh, Susan. We will be needing a photo!!
DeleteYup, I'll get my son to help on that.
DeleteOh, I couldn't fix the porch swing, wood too hard and angle too steep, but I had a park bench so used that instead.
DeleteUm, that's 5" deep - missing # up there.
ReplyDeleteOkay, 2 pix on the way to your email, listener.
