I have a question. Does anyone here have an electric mattress pad? I have read (but cynically suspect it may be advertising propaganda) that it can relieve morning back pain from tight muscles.
Nope, don't have an electric mattress pad - didn't even know they were a thing.
I went and ordered my new stove this morning. It's supposed to be delivered on Monday. It's only causing me stress because this is the first time I've a"done" T-day in about 4 years.
Indeed! And Alan's suggestion from a few threads back of ready made Thanksgiving dinner bears repeating. Our local supermarket makes an excellent one. You do have to order in advance...
"Of course, the putrid reactionary apple doesn’t fall far from the hysterical, right-wing, media tree, so Republican politicians are also focusing their attention on Clinton. The GOP is a party without a purpose, having proven stunningly incapable of governing since inauguration day. They slammed President Obama for years, and when they finally came into power they totally stalled out."
My comment to this was that the GOP must think the rest of us are as stupid as they are not to realize they are only attempting to deflect attention of Dear Leader's constant failure.
They're still knocking Obama. Every time I walk past Dad's Fox News, they're bitching about something Obama did. They're totally pathetic. It would be funny if they didn't have a country to run.
This is what our esteemed Congress persons spend their time on. Is it any wonder the general public's opinion of them is lower than used car salesmen and televangelists?

Rain and Wind arriving here. Yeah! Let's get that cold front in place. I'm tired of this particular endless Summer.
ReplyDeleteAnd I am tired of the second consecutive day of more or less constant rain.

DeleteYes, but I'm a way better cook than the supermarket or the restaurant. Not bragging, just a fact.
DeleteOf course there is also the old "We're having duck dinner. You bring the duck." approach. [grin]

I have long thought that "Intelligence Committee" is a misnomer. And Nunes "represents" the congressional district we live in.
