Tanking a break from yardwork; if my bathroom scale is right, I sweated off around three pints of water by 1:00 PM. Gotta replace that and the electrolytes.

Weather prediction is for cooler weather tomorrow. High today 97 degrees (predicted and probably true), 12% humidity. Wind is kicking up, and dust with it. After dinner (curry) settles, we will try to finish renovating the flower bed we were working on this morning--it must be at least fifteen years since we did so, and the kaffir lilies have done famously there.
In the end I sent my donation to Bernie, $20.16, via PayPal and the innertubes. That seemed easier since I wanted to snag a new T-shirt too. I like the new, simple design. ordered one of each, a pale blue and a white. Very cool, in both senses of the word.

Alan, if you were working in your yard in 97F weather, I hope it was dry heat! I lost half a pound working in 85F with high humidity!
