You are more than welcome, listener. I have been following UK politics during the past year or somewhat more, and the analogies with the US are greater than in the case of Spain; but all three seem to be feeling the same wind. The old major parties seem to have lost empathy with, and therefore the confidence of, the voters; their combined share of the vote continues to fall, and new political groupings threaten to replace them. I'm not holding my breath, but I keep thinking (hope springs eternal) that we might actually see a reformed political order in our lifetimes.
