  2. Rain, Rain Rain! We got 2" over the weekend and another 1.5" by midday today. Eldest's driveway washed out, but he made a place for the water to flow through moderately, then repaired the damage.

  4. currently downloading from Audible three books by Frances Hodgson Burnett that I've not previously read: Little Lord Fauntleroy, The Lost Prince and The Making of a Marchioness. I'm looking forward to listening to them.

  6. Our weather was exactly the same, Cat, right down to the temp! Chilly, but welcome after all that heat!

  7. Just passing through...

I stayed up WAY later than I should have last night to knock out a couple of opinions I had promised public defenders. I was sure there was a third opinion I owed someone but couldn't figure out which one it was....until I got the retainer today. Amazing how a check can refresh one's memory! Soon to bed; off to Napa (about four hours' drive each way) in the morning for court--my testimony should be very easy; both sides want to get the drug and alcohol test results on a decedent into the record, with a bit of interpretation.
