Dean's a treat! Good on Zephyr Teachout, and Vivat Caledonia!
Gee, listener--DIL's posting sounds dandy! Glad your granddaughter did well with the pony. Since finding out when he died (April 1798) but not how, I have wondered if my great-great-great grandfather might have had an accident with a draft horse that had been in the barn all winter… If he had lived but another year he would have qualified for a Crown Patent to his land.
I should have been working on a formal opinion, but have instead been lollygagging. Well, tomorrow.
It was a really nice day. We both took the day off, slept until 10am ( ! ), then went for lunch at a favourite cafe, poked around in a few shops, visited the place we'll have our family Christmas gathering, then came home and had ice cream and watched a movie. Ahhhhhhhhh.

ReplyDeleteVivvie is hanging on, weak but interested in the world around her.
RE the last thread: VT*Grand is a brave and intelligent little girl. No surprise there, but still a delight to realize again.
ReplyDeleteBill, I too hope the free time now doesn't lead to problems later. Enjoy it while you can.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm getting caught up on a lot of things I wouldn't otherwise have had time for. That's good.
Delete<3 Awww, thanks for the sweet Happies! :-)
