Went out to see the movie The Artist tonight. Go see it!! It has been nominated for 10 academy awards and has already won 3 Golden Globes (including for best picture, best actor and best score).
It's about a silent film star who is on his way down as his love interest, who does talkies, is on her way up. The stellar thing about this film is that it is created as a silent film (with a wonderful music score), and much of it is in black and white. But not all is black and white and there are a few places where sound is heard (and it's perfect for the plot). The creativity it took to do this film is to be highly commended!! And the acting is superb. My favourite is the leading lady role.
Google's run me around about four times trying to sign back in. I bloody give up. Electric's been out for 8 hours, it's bitter cold, never snowed more, and I want my mommy!
