Listener, your cozy corner sounds delightful. I agree with Puddle. It must be great to be your granddaughter.
What happened to your niece is so scary, all the more so that it was part of such a large group of robberies. Like Bill, I wonder if the whole thing was somehow related to Paul being in town? I'm just glad your niece and her baby weren't hurt. Poor kitties though! Let us know any developments as far as catching the scum and/or recovering the stolen items.
I figured early on that Romney would be the nominee. Just because he's rich and handsome and Americans now seem to vote as if they were choosing the next American Idol.
Doesn't much matter as each of them is a slightly different brand of crazy.
If they were really all in that same town that afternoon, that reinforces the point that the local police would be totally tied up providing security and the burglary ring might figure they would have free rein.
And yet again, Howard is first.

Being robbed/burglarized just makes one feel so violated, so dirty...
ReplyDeleteDidn't find your duck, but found this, which was interesting, and maybe holds a clue:

It's not Ron Paul's fault, they're all "in town." Today is the NH Primary!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIn fact:
Obama got the most votes in Dixville Notch!

I saw that site too, puddle. There are some ring-necked Gadwalls if you scroll way down at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteYes, dirty...especially after the police dust your entire house for fingerprints!
ReplyDeleteHey wait! Could it have been a Fulvous Whistling Duck?

I appreciate that in Dixville Notch with 2 Dems, 3 Reps and 4 Undeclareds they ended up with 3 for Obama and the rest got less!

ReplyDeleteDoes kinda warm the ol' cockles, eh?
ReplyDeletelistener ~~ The nice thing about those number is that one of the undeclared voters told the Republicans, in so many words, "None of the above!"
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting.
ReplyDeleteWhile we're lighting candles, let's not forget Renee.

Well, one of the Undeclareds anyway.
ReplyDeleteI probably shouldn't laugh at this news clip, but I can't help it!

The video is definitely not humourous. But the wording!! Oh my!
