Thankful tells me that puddle is doing well. She has had tests and is waiting on some of the results, and there seems to be room for optimism. It may be that puddle gets to go home Tuesday, but we'll see. If so, Thankful will be there for her and at the house for a time. So I'm sitting here feeling extremely grateful for Thankful and puddle both, and for Howard Dean who brought them (and all of us) together.
Just got word that my dear friend Margy died. She had a stroke. She was ninety-one. The only consolation is, she went quickly and didn't suffer. I'm going to miss her very much.
Ohhhh, Cat, I am so sad for your loss. Even at age 91, and when the person has had "a good death," we still grieve over the big hole a person leaves in our lives. What we get to keep, though, is the love. ♥ Hugs ♥
puddle is, right this moment, describing to me the GORGEOUS flowers that Cat sent to her and that she absolutely loves!! The arrangement even has Freesia in it, which smells wonderful and everyone who comes by comments on how great the arrangement smells. She is delighted!!! ♥
= ♥ Apparently Ted E. Bear arrived in puddle's room when she was at a low point. I'm so unspeakably heartglad that she got bear hugs right at that moment! ♥ =
puddle would say that Howard Dean is First.
ReplyDeleteAnd she would be right!
Sure do miss puddle. Can't wait to hear how she's doing.
I'll call her on Sunday. Stay tuned.
Will stay tuned indeed.
ReplyDeleteLOL Alan. All birthdays should involve chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream, or at the very least chocolate chip ice cream.
ReplyDeleteOr Cherry Garcia!
