I love chipmunks. I know they're rodents, but boy are they cute! When I put out peanuts in the shell they crack me up. They stick one in the right cheek pouch, one in the left cheek pouch and one in the mouth. It tickles me to see a chipmunk with peanut-shaped cheeks.
Mah*Sweetie's family always called them "Chippys" because that's what the littlest family member called them! :-) They are super cute. We tell Emma-cat that they're meaner than they look, though. She's meaner than she looks too. Her favourite thing in all her lifetime has been to snag Mr. Chippy's tail. =Sigh= She likes to make a present of it. Well, she used to. Nowadays she is too slow and nearsighted to do the deed, but her heart still wants to. Somehow we no longer have a species of bob-tail Chippys around here. ;-)
Spent the day in town delivering greeting card orders and garnering the very last of the quilting supplies! Now to clean house a bit (so the atmosphere is sweet when Mah*Sweetie arrives home), then on to some serious, intense, concentrating embroidering!
Howard's da foist! (Just HAD to say it!)
ReplyDeleteAnother pretty day. Bit brighter and slightly warmer than yesterday, but all's good dat's good!
