BTW, I have a new photo posting on Wednesday at NOON. I mention this because it could mean a new thread will start also. Whomever starts that thread, please mention this one, so folks will know to read here too.
Great news about Ally. It was just a matter of waiting for the FDA to act, but really good to here that they have.
Fairly busy day even without mining salt. Had a meeting of the Disability Parade steering committee this evening, preceded by dinner with the guy who will be filling in as Treasuret while I'm in Australia. And Penny and I got our room reservations in Melbourne. With everything else being so expensive, we decided to to with much the cheapest hotel available. I also bought my Megabus tickets to go to Columbus over Memorial Day weekend. I'm used to Megabus tickets being $15 each way, but they get more expensive as the bus gets closer to being sold out and they were up to $49 now. And I'm going to be getting my hotel reservations for Pasadena before I to to bed.
Yes indeed, great Ally news! Not being from the same neck of the woods, I am surprised to hear things have warmed up so much at puddle's place. Vacation day from Job No. 1 tomorrow so I can give a consultation with an attorney the attention it deserves. (Big personal injury case out of federal court in Alaska.) Had encounters with two different attorneys (defense and prosecution, two different cases) who were all aflutter about the effects of a recent US Supreme Court decision on expert testimony, thinking it will be a big change--but it doesn't really change anything at all for us. Just said a crime lab report couldn't be automatically entered as evidence without affording the defendant the opportunity to cross-examine the person who signed the report. (Massachusetts had a law saying that was OK.) Big whoop; never has been that way out here, at least in my time.
Well, it's for sure not the last frost, lol! That's usually the third week in May. But I also get peepers almost always on March 19, 20, or 21. And on average, the poor boogers, nekkid and wet already, get snowed on within the week. . . . But we ARE trending toward spring.
Sorry to be so brief, but it's the end of the quarter, and I'm generally rushed at the moment. And sorry I haven't been by lately--same reason.
Apologies for being abrupt, but I need to leave for water aerobics in a few minutes. Before anyone sends any more donations for Echo commenting, could we find out what's the difference between Echo Live and Echo Live "White Label"?

I had assumed this was going to cost $12 for a year, but "White Label" is selected by default on that page.
Sure don't see that the differences warrant that kind of price differences. But *one* feature of the "pro" version is multiple moderation. As it stands now, it seems you're *it* ~~ Rene, go either direction you feel best, I'll make up the difference if you need.

ReplyDeleteOn year, our last frost was well into June, and killed everyone's tomatoes, and it was pretty much too late to replace them. Sad year.
ReplyDeleteThe year I heated with a wood stove, my last morning fire was June 10th, and everyone started running out of wood around May 1st.

Puddle--I thought I could puzzle it out from context, but now I give up. What is a "peeper?"

Also, assuming that live is what we've been experiencing, since I've tried moderating here, and it won't let me.
