  1. Gorgeous photo!!

Thanks, Cat. I was mystified as to how I'd missed posting a photo for today, but it turns out it was posted for 1:00 PM!!
Catreona to the rescue! We got home late and I only now just noticed. Off to sleep a LONG night's sleep that is much needed.
Just wanted you all to know we got home safely from Maine, and had a very good visit there.

  3. Did you know that Hawaii had a 6.0 earthquake Friday evening about 9:46pm local time on the big island? No tsunami, but it sure shook things up.

    1. Awful lot of earthquakes all over the world lately. And volcanos. Did you know a volcano has been erupting steadily in the Bismarck sea for over three weeks now, and scientists conjecture that a new island may be in process of forming?

    3. Well, that was fascinating. I've found a few really interesting Science channels on YouTube. The above linked video is from a channel called "Project Nightwatch".
