Thanks, Cat. I was mystified as to how I'd missed posting a photo for today, but it turns out it was posted for 1:00 PM!! Catreona to the rescue! We got home late and I only now just noticed. Off to sleep a LONG night's sleep that is much needed. Just wanted you all to know we got home safely from Maine, and had a very good visit there.
Did you know that Hawaii had a 6.0 earthquake Friday evening about 9:46pm local time on the big island? No tsunami, but it sure shook things up. One person's account of the shaking, with video
Awful lot of earthquakes all over the world lately. And volcanos. Did you know a volcano has been erupting steadily in the Bismarck sea for over three weeks now, and scientists conjecture that a new island may be in process of forming?
Well, that was fascinating. I've found a few really interesting Science channels on YouTube. The above linked video is from a channel called "Project Nightwatch".
Gorgeous photo!!
