  1. Energy Co-op is hoping to get out here “next week” with a new hot water heater.

  2. I made a quilt for my oldest son and now I cannot find the fabric I need to make the binding. I probably intended to hide it from the cats to keep them from rolling all over it, but it seems I hid it from myself even more effectively. Minor domestic crisis that is consuming all my attention. 1. Put it in a safe place, eh? I know all about that. /sigh/ Good luck in the search.

    2. The easiest way to find it is to go buy something to replace it. It'll turn up within 24 hours.
      (Save your receipt. LOL)

  3. That's a sweet photo.

I slept much of the day and woke up to no innertubes. The connection only just now came back. Donno how long it will last.

    2. Feel free to post any photo I post here (unless it has humans in it).

    3. I'm glad your series of Tubes is working again!
My computer told me I didn't have internet today. I had to reboot.
These things always make me wonder who's planning a cyberattack.

In 48 states, a rapist can sue a woman for getting an abortion.
In many cases she will face a harsher punishment for accessing reproductive healthcare than the man will face for raping her.
That’s patriarchy, and it’s time to burn it down.

    1. I read that they can kill women for *seeking* an abortion. I guess they are too freaking STUPID to realize that killing a pregnant woman *also* kills the fetus. Susan. Yes, burn the Patriarchy to ashes!

    2. Vermont must be one of the states that doesn't allow that. Reproductive rights were enshrined in our State Constitution in 2022, by a citizen vote of 76.77% to 23/23%.

  5. Yay! I found the binding material! I'm going to have to start leaving notes to myself when I "hide" something so I don't have to search for hours to find it. Susan

    1. Never let the binding win!
Well done, Susan!! We're celebrating with you, as I'm sure we've all had to hunt for something (in my case, many things)!

  6. Today, a federal judge issued a summary judgement saying Trump's name must be removed from the Kennedy Center. In a separate decision, another federal judge enjoined the Trump regime from taking any action whatsoever with regard to the cop beaters' slush fund. Two small but real wins for Justice and Democracy.

  7. Poor ol' Spinnaker kitty is having difficulty poohing. We got a laxative from the vet, but the trick is getting her to consume some of it without allowing Mizzen kitty to consume any. Any Mizzen doesn't miss a thing. Sigh. We got her to take a little of it, but no luck yet. Hoping so much that we don't end up having to make a trip to the emergency vet this weekend!!!
