We got home from grocery shopping and I saw the mail had arrived. It was all junk mail, but one piece was decidedly anachronous; a modest-sized paperback book printed on cheap paper and addressed to Resident/Current Resident. A fifteen-second perusal indicated that it was probably anti-Catholic propaganda; figuring out the source would have taken more time, but it didn't appear to be from the Jehovah's Witnesses (certainly it would have been unlike them). Straight into the recycling bin together with the opportunity to open some sort of new account at our bank, get a walk-in bathtub, and one or two other odds and ends. -----Alan
