A few comments on the last thread...which I finally got to read! We have begun celebrating Wil's birthday (which is Monday). Went out to dinner with Root*Center*Son then to hear the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra. AMAZING trumpet soloist! Then I came home and baked the cake, because tomorrow we'll be cleaning the boat cabin inside, and on Monday we'll be cleaing the exterior of the boat. In between we're having dinner here with Root*Center*Son, including birthday cake. Off to slumberland now!
Oh! Pretty excited about something. Met on Friday with Loch Nest's former owner, and she surprised us by gifting us with our boat's blueprints...which she received from the boat's designer, the famous Bob Perry himself!! The blueprints even include Perry's original note to her. With the copy of the blueprints is an ORIGINAL he sent her of an early draft the sail design. It's all very cool. We are thinking of driving up to Whitby, Ontario in July when the Aloha boats converge in a "Rendezvous" there. We would *love* to travel there via Loch Nest, but it would take several days each way instead of the 6.5 hours by car. Just can't be away that long. But as most of the Aloha boats are moored up that way, we'll get to see a lot of them and meet a number of the people we've been conversing with for the past year. It was a year ago this weekend that we passed papers on the boat!
TFG is influencing my dreams! Shortly before waking this morning, I dreamt four of us were traveling somewhere by car and stopped at McDonald's for food. I ordered the food, and when it was presented to me I discovered that the bill was $330! I was in a quandary about paying or partially returning the order, but then woke up. Later I realized that at McDonald's one pays BEFORE getting the food. That had to come from the story about TFG paying $700 at McD's for his group at the NYC trial. ---Alan
The logistics of the defendant being in trial in one jurisdiction while incarcerated in another might be a bit of a challenge, but modern remote conferencing technollgy such as Zoom could probably take care of that. -----Alan

Less work for the same pay won’t fly – but here’s a four-day week that might [Click] Yep. I worked four tens a lot, and it is pretty good. Three twelves-hour days is rough, though— especially on the graveyard shift.
