Having slept on yesterday's Trump news, both his courtroom behavior and the sores on his hand, I am inclined to think the man is frankly insane. ----Alan
US third-party centrists file formal complaint over election ‘conspiracy’ [Click] “No Labels asks justice department to investigate ‘alleged unlawful conspiracy’ to stop potential bid against Republicans and Democrats.” So they want to get ballot lines by snapping their fingers? The overcast was burning off, but came back, and it is still rather cold (by our standards), so I suggested we skip gardening today and Miyoko agreed. Yesterday we did enough that our work was pretty obvious. ----Alan
Is anyone surprised? Netanyahu is a horrible persona and a criminal. He wants all Palestinians dead and gone. Many Israelis are furious with him. Why are we still propping him up?
I was grateful that Bernie tried to get the Senate to investigate how Israel is using US dollars right now. And I'm grateful my other Senator, Peter Welch voted with him, as did 9 others. What was wrong with the 74 who voted against just finding out where our money is going?
NEWS! puddle's son Cooter texted: I’m with mom in a hospital room. She's been losing strength to stand up, not falling, but ending up on the floor not able to get up. She’s here for observation. Maybe there will be some rehab later, then assisted living. Not sure what the future holds.
She got to decide where the ambulance would take her. Her potassium is low so they are trying to get her balanced. Laying in the hospital bed and waiting around makes one think how old one is and about the end of life. I think she’ll be able to get back to the cabin, maybe when warm weather comes.
Thanks, Cat and W. A.! I'll ask Cooter if puddle is able to read the blog or whether she might want me to text through him supportive comments posted here on the blog. Not sure what she's up for, yet. But it sure is great to read them and know we're all holding puddle in the Light!
Low potassium? That takes more time to fix than one would think--days, typically. It's because potassium is mostly in the tissues, so the serum (where it is measured) levels don't start to go up until the tissues have all they need, or close to it. -----Alan

From what I can gather, they seem to think the rules are meant for everybody except them.

Expressing my care and concern. Although I can attest that weakness comes with old age, This sudden weakening sounds like something more acute.

Can't hurry the potassium infusion, either; that is dangerous.
